HireArt is helping our client find a skilled and reliable Facilities Technician to join its maintenance team.In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of building systems and facilities.As a Facilities Technician, you'll:Perform general repair and troubleshooting across multiple trades, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.Conduct routine preventative maintenance on building systems, fixtures, and equipment.Operate various tools and equipment, including ladders, power tools, and diagnostic instruments, in a safe and effective manner.Interpret and work from basic blueprints and building schematics.Install, maintain, and repair locks and door hardware to ensure building security.Perform light electrical tasks, such as replacing outlets, switches, ballasts, and light fixtures.Address basic plumbing issues, including unclogging drains, repairing leaks, and replacing fixtures.Travel between multiple sites, if required.
