What You'll Do

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Strong Excel experience
• Accounts payable and experience using the CSIU/FIS system is preferred, but not required
• Computer knowledge (word processing, spreadsheets, email)
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Previous office experience in a school district office setting is preferred.

Schedule and Primary Job Responsibilities

• Full-time position (12 months per year (260 days), 8 hours per day)
• Wage is determined by the AGESPA Collective Bargaining Agreement. The starting wage is $21.10 per hour in the current plan.
• Processing vendor invoices and check runs for various funds to ensure timely payment to vendors and contractors
• Preparing and ensuring accounts payable reports are accurate
• Researching and resolving billing discrepancies with vendors
• Preparing bi-weekly and monthly Board Reports
• Processing entries for manual ACH and wire payments, including District procurement cards
• Processing budget transfers
• Preparing journal entries
• Assisting other departments with proper use of account codes
• Other duties as assigned
