Duties
- Interpret and follow detailed construction plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Perform a variety of remodeling tasks including carpentry, trim work, flooring installation, window and glass installation, and hardscape construction.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to install building materials and complete renovation projects.
- Manage onsite construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards throughout each phase.
- Coordinate with team members and clients to schedule work, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct inspections of work sites to verify compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Assist in estimating project costs, managing construction materials, and maintaining detailed documentation of progress.
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a strong background in residential remodeling or building construction.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and operating heavy equipment safely on job sites.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, flooring installation, window installation, glass work, and hardscaping is highly desirable.
- Experience with construction management software such as Bluebeam is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites and remodeling projects.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients effectively.
