JD Law Clerk/Attorney Texas Bar Required

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented JD Law Clerk Attorney to join our legal team remotely. This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to support law firm trial support and operations, and conduct comprehensive legal research. Your analytical skills and legal expertise will contribute directly to the success of our legal initiatives while working in a flexible, remote environment that values your growth and dedication. 2nd Chair experience helpful but not necessary.

Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw to support ongoing litigation, contracts, and compliance projects.
• Assist in reviewing, drafting, and editing legal documents, including contracts, memoranda, and pleadings with precision and clarity.
• Support the firm by preparing summaries of legal issues, analyzing case law, and providing insights on legal strategies.
• Review documents for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to legal standards.
• Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals on litigation support tasks such as discovery management and case preparation.
• Might be asked to 2nd Chair a Trial (Will Train if needed).

Qualifications

• Demonstrated research and analysis skills with the ability to synthesize complex legal information clearly.
• Experience in contract review, drafting, or litigation support is preferred.
• Excellent writing skills with attention to detail for drafting memos, reports, and legal documents.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a remote work setting.

Academic Qualifications Necessary

• Strong Academic Credentials
• Civil Litigation Experience (NOT Criminal/NOT Family) or Federal State Clerkship
