REQUIREMENTS
The Maintenance Administration/Logs & Records Technician will provide Contract Maintenance Support (CMS) as an integrated part of the Maintenance Administration effort to support the unit’s flight hour/training goals. This is an Aircraft Logs & Records Technician position.
GENERAL:
- Possess a minimum of five (5) years Aviation experience (U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 6046).
- Possess a working knowledge of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP and Periodic Maintenance Information Cards (PMIC).
- Observe personal safety and line precautions around aircraft and workspaces.
- Work will be on a government installation; therefore, you must be cleared for access.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work, cooperate and communicate, as directed, with supervisors, team leaders and coworkers satisfactorily. This includes the professional, mature acceptance of constructive criticism.
- Possess an extensive working knowledge of Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (Organizational Maintenance Activity) (NALCOMIS/OMA), Configuration Management, and DECKPLATE.
- Perform all Maintenance Administration functions.
- Maintain aircraft Logbooks and Records.
Monitor, control, and administer the Maintenance Data System.
