What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at AVISTA SENIOR LIVING MANAGEMENT LLC?
Avista Senior Living White Cliffs , a beautiful senior living community in Kingman, AZ, is seeking dedicated & motivated team members to join our team as Servers.
**SHIFT WOULD BE THURSDAY-SUNDAY 3PM-7PM, WITH THE OPTION TO PICK UP CALLED OFF SHIFTS**
Under general supervision of the Dining Supervisor, the servers performs a variety of duties involving preparation and service of balanced meals to the residents of Avista. The Servers will possess a genuine interest in and concern for the food service industry and for geriatric, chronically ill and/or disabled persons. Must be able to communicate well and take direction to ensure top notch service to our residents.

Essential Functions:

Supports the philosophy, mission, commitment, vision, and values of Avista

Prepares food, etc., in accordance with sanitary regulations, as well as established policies and procedures.

Develops and maintains a good working rapport with department personnel, as well as other departments within the community, to assure that food service can be properly maintained to meet the needs of the patients.

Assists in serving meals, as necessary, on a timely basis.

Assists with inventorying and storing incoming food, supplies, etc., as necessary.

Assists in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies.

Assists with maintaining food storage areas in a clean and properly arranged manner at all times.

Sets up meal trays, food carts, the dining room etc., as instructed.

May assist Cook with preparing meals.

Serves food in dining room, as instructed.
Qualifications:
- A positive team player mentality and passion for serving seniors!
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Food service experience preferred, but NOT required.
- Food handler's permit, or the ability to obtain.
Salary : $15
