Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to join our team at an Independent Living Community. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, guests, and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Essential Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident apartments, common areas, offices, and community spaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and restroom amenities as needed.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged property to management.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and community events as assigned.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with residents and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to serve senior residents with respect and kindness.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to use cleaning equipment and supplies safely.
