Plant Mechanic

Salary: $44.75 per hour to $64.13 per hour; 7-step progression; Bargaining Unit

Job Description
To maintain all mechanical station equipment in order to ensure Plant availability and maximum capacity.  This position is the highest of a multi-step progression and is expected to know all aspects of Plant Mechanic duties for the Company.  Lower steps in this classification are expected to progress into all aspects of these duties.

• Must be able to certify as a “R” stamp welder and have the ability to operate a wide variety of machine shop equipment. 
• Requires five years steam electric plant or related industrial experience. 
• Other combinations of education/experience may be considered.
