Avir Health Group is seeking a qualified Housekeeper to join our family!
We are searching for a Housekeeper that is resident and family focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a facility culture. The primary purpose of your job position is to maintain the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.

Major Responsibilities:
Clean resident rooms, lounges, restrooms, corridors, and other common areas.
Sweep and mops floors. Dusts furniture and equipment.
Wash walls and woodwork.
Wash windows, door panels, and windowsills
Empty trash and waste in the disposal area.
Replenish supplies in resident suites, on housekeeping carts, and throughout the facility as required.
Collect soiled laundry from residents.
Sort laundry and tag appropriately.
Launder all items appropriately (all items to be dry-cleaned shall be labeled, sent to the dry-cleaners, and received from the dry-cleaners on a regular weekly schedule).
Launder facility linens, dietary aprons, towels, etc.
Dry laundry appropriately.
Steam presses items as needed.
Return clean laundry to residents.
Qualifications:
Previous nursing home experience preferred
