Duties
- Facilitate talent acquisition processes by supporting recruiting efforts, managing applicant tracking systems (ATS), and assisting with interview scheduling to attract top talent.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated smoothly into the organization.
- Assist with employee evaluation procedures, performance management initiatives, and training & development activities to promote continuous growth.
- Support benefits administration by processing enrollments, changes, and inquiries related to health plans, retirement programs, and other employee benefits.
- Maintain HR systems such as HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms like Workday or SAP SuccessFactors to ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Contribute to compliance efforts by monitoring employment law adherence, managing workers' compensation claims, and supporting affirmative action planning.
- Collaborate on project management initiatives related to organization design, workforce planning, succession planning, and change management strategies.
Experience
- Proven experience in an HR department role with familiarity in human capital management, personnel administration, and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, HR legal compliance, OSHA regulations, FMLA policies, and regulatory standards impacting HR practices.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize HR systems such as Oracle HCM, UltiPro, ADP, or Paychex for data entry, payroll processing, and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel data analysis essential), with excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Experience with recruiting tools like Lever or iCIMS is preferred; familiarity with social media management for talent sourcing is a plus.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Organizational skills in project coordination, conflict management, and strategic planning are highly valued for success in this role.
