Position: Territory Manager, Southwest Region
Location: Remotely based in Los Angeles, CA., San Diego, CA., or San Francisco, CA.
Job Type: Full-time (up to 50% travel is required)
Position Overview: Promote the Avidity Science portfolio to existing and new vivarium customers. The current Biomedical product portfolio consists of Edstrom® Automated Watering Systems, Hydropac®, BMDS™, Watchdog EX® and Preventative Maintenance Contracts. This role consists of up to 50% travel to visit customers within the territory, industry-related meetings and tradeshows. The base salary for this role is typically $90,000-$100,000 (not including commission).
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Introduce Avidity Science's portfolio of products/ service to new customers
- Leverage relationships with Regional Project Managers and Avidity Science executives
- Drive revenue growth and close opportunities by matching Avidity Science solutions to customers' needs
- Identify opportunities to develop a total solution, not just product sales
- Manage sales cycles of varying lengths with customers through receipt of purchase order, training and beyond
- Strategically manage on-going relationships through account planning
- Develop, detailed account plan including customer overview, business objectives, strategies and competitive solution.
- Territory management (California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii and Alaska)
What You Bring to the Table:
- 5 years of experience in a vivarium facility and experience with progressive selling
- In-depth Industry Knowledge
- Ability to identify and improve sales processes
- Ability to apply and articulate a customer value proposition for Avidity Science solutions
- Experience to interface with customers and contractors
