Come to work at the newest hotel in Hays! We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Night Audit/Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A background in hospitality or hotel management is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations.
- Provide information about local attractions, services, and hotel amenities.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Process payments and maintain cash handling procedures.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while ensuring a high level of guest service.
- Night auditors perform end-of-day accounting tasks and overnight front desk duties. They assist late-night guests, process check-ins and check-outs, and address other customer requests. They also audit, reconcile, and balance daily financial activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems is a plus.
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- A commitment to providing outstanding guest services in a dynamic environment.
