- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless and well-maintained
- Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and polishing surfaces to keep all areas looking pristine
- Restock amenities like toiletries, towels, linens, and other supplies to ensure guest comfort at all times
- Handle janitorial tasks efficiently by disposing of trash, cleaning windows, dusting furniture, and maintaining cleanliness in public spaces like lobbies and hallways
- Follow established safety procedures during cleaning processes to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to report maintenance issues or inventory shortages promptly
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding hygiene standards, confidentiality, and guest privacy at all times
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred; experience in industrial or janitorial cleaning is also valuable
- Familiarity with floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing enhances your ability to deliver exceptional results
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards ensures you understand the importance of guest satisfaction and attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage time efficiently while completing multiple cleaning tasks within scheduled shifts
