Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home care to clients, assisting with activities of daily living
- Help clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up and laundry
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Accompany clients to appointments or social outings
- Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a caregiver is preferred but not required
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance (if required for transportation)
- Ability to pass a background check
- to be able to drive a client to physician appointments with their own vehicle (reimbursed for the miles of course),
- be available to work during normal business hours,
- be comfortable working in homes that have cats & dogs.
- have auto insurance that they can provide a copy of his/her insurance card
- an active driver's license
- a birth certificate or social security card
- a high school diploma, GED certificate or college diploma
