Avid-ABA is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Technician to join our team on-site in Detroit, MI. The Behavioral Health Technician will work directly with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder to implement personalized ABA treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include providing behavioral interventions, supporting skill development, collecting data on progress, and collaborating with supervisors and families to promote the well-being and growth of each client.
- Knowledge or experience in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Strong skills in Communication and Behavioral Intervention techniques
- Background or education in Psychology or related fields is preferred
- Ability to work with individuals with diverse needs in a supportive and compassionate manner
- Strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings and communicate with families
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field is a plus
- Relevant certifications, such as Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, are advantageous
