Job Overview
The Treasury Coordinator Intern will support the Finance and Accounting team by assisting with vendor setup, cash application, and other treasury operations. This internship provides hands-on experience and exposure to key treasury processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily cash management activities, including monitoring bank transactions and account balances. Maintain and update daily Cash Flow schedules
- Process and apply cash receipts within the accounting system, ensuring correct allocation and reconciliation
- Participate in the vendor payment process, assisting with AP aging analysis and follow-up on outstanding items
- Participating in investigations and cash application issues
- Process and record credit card payment
- Help maintain accurate records and documentation
- Communicate with internal teams and vendors as needed
- Assist with W9 and electronic payment requests
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
- Support account reconciliations and financial reporting
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualification
Education:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Skill and Abilities
- Practical experience in treasury operations and financial management
- Opportunity to develop skills in a professional finance environment
- Performance evaluation throughout the internship with potential consideration for a full-time role.
- Adhere to standard accounting principles and company procedures
- Advance skills of Microsoft Office
- Spanish is a plus, but not required
- Great analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
