Aviation & Missile Solutions (AMS) is currently seeking a Test Execution Specialist to join our team at White Sands Missile Range, NM.
The Test Execution Specialist (TES) will work as part of an Army Project Office Test Event Management Team (TEMT) to serve as a Test Site Operator and Assistant Test Event Manager. Candidate will assist Government Test Event Managers with test planning and execution on complex and advanced Air and Missile Defense systems, providing technical systems integration and test support in field test environment. The TES will assist in resolving technical and software issues on tactical equipment and will prepare daily and weekly reports to appropriate personnel.
The Test Execution Specialist (TES) is responsible for coordinating and executing complex system tests across multiple platforms and environments. This position will be responsible for supporting test activities of the IBCS Army Command and Control System as it integrates with foreign components. The Test candidate must be capable of understanding the nuances of different foreign systems and be able to support test planning and requirements to meet the goals of each unique system or component. This role oversees daily test operations, ensures alignment with program objectives, and supports integration, troubleshooting, and system validation activities. The TES collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive successful test outcomes while maintaining detailed reporting and documentation.
Candidate must be able to work in a high paced environment with a flexible work schedule during test execution phases. The Test Execution Specialist will be required to operate tactical equipment during system qualification testing, HWIL lab testing, and range testing. This work will occur as part of a TEMT; therefore, the candidate must possess good communication skills and be able to work in a team environment consisting of government and prime contractor personnel from multiple projects, agencies, and labs.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily start-of-day and end-of-day meetings to coordinate test activities, communicate objectives, and address range status
- Develop, manage, and maintain briefing packages outlining schedules, objectives, status updates, and risks
- Generate and manage daily WSMR summary reports and tasking requirements
- Create, modify, and review WSMR defense plans (test architecture laydowns) to ensure mission readiness and compliance
- Support HWIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) integration efforts, including simulation systems such as LOTN, L2, Iron, VEST, SENTSIM, and I Launcher
- Assist with integration activities involving tactical Air and Missile Defense radar and launcher systems such as Patriot, Sentinel A3/A4, LTAMDS, and IFPC
- Execute and oversee test conduct, including planning, execution, and validation activities, ensuring alignment with program goals and requirements
- Perform system troubleshooting and resolve technical issues during test events
- Operate and monitor performance of systems during test execution
- Serve as an IBCS Common Warfighter Machine Interface (CWMI) system trainer, providing guidance and instruction to team members
- Document and track issues through JIRA ticketing system
- Conduct software regression testing and safety runs to validate system performance and compliance
- Manage and coordinate testing across multiple testbeds, including IFMC, LTAMDS, IFPC, DT, CVT, and OA
- Participate in Test Event Management Team (TEMT) weekly synchs and other technical and programmatic meetings
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field or equivalent technical experience is required
- Candidate must be a US citizen, have up to 10 years of technical experience, and have and maintain a current Secret security clearance
- Test experience with Air and Missile Defense systems, such as Patriot, LTAMDS, IFPC, Sentinel, or IBCS is strongly desired
- Experience in test planning, systems integration, and test execution and reporting
- Familiarity with HWIL environments and live system integration
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with JIRA or similar issue-tracking tools
- Ability to manage multiple test environments simultaneously
- Strong communication and coordination skills in a team-oriented environment
