Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
- Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
- Support mobility by helping residents move, transfer, and ambulate safely
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Follow care plans and comply with all healthcare regulations and facility policies
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of employment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but not required
