Cleaning Associate / Housekeeper

Job Description Summary

CWT Farms International is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning associate to maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning office spaces, restrooms, break rooms, and laundry while ensuring a safe and professional workplace.

Job Description

• Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  
  

Wash, dry, fold, and organize company laundry, including towels, uniforms, and other work-related items.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, and replenish paper products and soap.
• Clean and disinfect office areas, including desks (when accessible), furniture, windows, and floors.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust throughout the facility.
• Clean and sanitize the employee break room, including tables, countertops, sinks, appliances, and floors.
• Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the facility and replace liners.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is low.
• Follow all safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management.
• Perform other general housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Qualifications
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Work Environment
• Indoor office and facility environment.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Use of cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to handle moderate physical work
• Work with chemicals, such as detergents, disinfectants
• Stand for extended periods of time (6 hours)
• Grip, grasp or twist using hands and wrists
• Lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50lbs
• Bend and stoop repetitively throughout out shift
• Prolonged exposure to dry and dusty environments
• Routinely work up to 6 days a week, including weekends and holidays
• Routine handling and interacting with day-old chicks
• Ongoing presence of hatchery related debris, smells and odors
• Climate exposure both hot and cold
• Working in damp and/or wet environment
• Working in a loud/noisy environment
