Responsibilities:
- Remove die from machine with crane, clean, install replacement die
- Remove screens and Teflon and discard, separate spinnerets and breaker plate
- Take spinnerets to die room, load breaker plate and place in 1550 degree oven
- Reassemble dies, spray, with silicon, wrap in plastic, store until needed Melt blown
- Remove, bolts, air knives, die tips and breaker plate to go in oven
- Pressure wash, inspect, reassemble, wrap with plastic
- Clean, repair dies, build honeycombs, and maintain all equipment
- Quality - Ensures quality by continually watching for any abnormality and reporting it timely
- Safety - follows company procedures and uses material and equipment per manufacturers' directions
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, (or a GED) is required.
- He/she must possess good problem solving skills, basic math skills, along with good interpersonal skills.
- Working harmoniously with co-workers while exhibiting a "can-do" attitude is critical to success.
- Employee must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a somewhat frequent basis.
- Must be able to read and use a micrometer and depth gauge.
