Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a variety of heavy machinery on construction sites, ensuring efficient project progress and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of construction equipment, mechanical systems, and site safety protocols to support diverse construction activities.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and front loader trucks with precision and safety.
- Manage and operate specialized machinery such as concrete mixers, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, farm machinery, and tankers as needed for various project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
- Assist with site preparation, grading, material handling, and excavation tasks.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment use and project timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment operation and maintenance activities.
Experience
- Proven experience operating construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other heavy equipment.
- Construction site experience is highly preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus for operating trucks such as front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, or tanker vehicles.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment or similar brands is advantageous.
- Experience working with concrete mixers or farm machinery is beneficial.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
