The Electronic Security Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic security, access control, and CCTV equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system cabling, access control systems installation, Intrusion detection systems installation, CCTV systems installation. Applicants who have a strong verifiable background in system configuration and programming is a plus.
Job Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electronic security, access control, and CCTV equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with security, access control, and CCTV devices
- Test and calibrate electronic components and systems
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to perform tasks
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
- Provide technical support to customers and clients
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in electronic technology
MUST HAVE skills
- Proven experience as an electronics Technician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Access Control and CCTV systems and components
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to detect and resolve electronic malfunctions
- Experience with Lenel, Software House, Avigilon, Bosch and DMP preferred
- Experience with computer networking is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Clean Motor Vehicle and Background checks
