Position Highlights The Patient Access Representative is responsible for daily operations of the facility registration and scheduling areas. This includes patient account check-in, check-out, insurance verification, TOS (time of service) collections, and reception. The Patient Access Representative is also responsible for excellent customer service to internal and external customers. REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Annual influenza vaccinations are mandatory for all employees by December 1, unless a medical waiver is signed and approved. Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse course for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 30 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter.
