Lake Regional Healthcare is currently seeking a Surgical Technician to deliver the best possible care in LRH’s patient-focused setting.
SUMMARY:
Works in the operating room environment under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and Surgeon. Functions as a member of the healthcare team by performing scrub duties for patients of all ages. Scrubs for all types of surgical procedures, demonstrates and maintains sterile technique. Monitors and obtains supplies for the operating room and central supply.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURE:
Graduate of an accredited Surgery Technician program required. Certification is optional. Current certifications in BLS and Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporting or completion according to hospital Education Policy.
EXPERIENCE:
Six months surgical scrub experience preferred.
