Key Responsibilities:
- Dishwashing:
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using both manual and machine methods.
- Load and unload dishwashers.
- Ensure proper drying and storage of clean items.
- Prioritize loads of different types of crockery and kitchenware.
- Kitchen Cleanliness:
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area.
- Sweep and mop floors, wipe down counters, and remove trash.
- Assisting with Other Duties:
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks (e.g., peeling vegetables, portioning ingredients) as needed.
- May be required to help with bussing tables or other food service tasks.
- Assist with unloading deliveries.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Regularly check and maintain the dishwasher and other cleaning equipment.
