Event Delivery and Install Associate

Job Type: Part-time

Pay Scale: $20 - $27.00 per hour as a W2 Employee

Work Location: San Luis Obispo, CA

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be able to work 5 to 8 hour shifts
• Excellent customer service skills, a drive to learn, and a motivation to help people
• Must have your own reliable means of transportation
• Must be able to lift furniture throughout each shift
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must meet auto insurance requirements to drive our box trucks, which includes a Good Motor Vehicle Report (No DUIs, Reckless, Major Accidents), and you must be 21 or older in age.

Experience:

• Experience with moving or lifting furniture for 1 year is preferred, but not required.

License/Certificates:

• California Driver's License

Job Description:

As a member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for providing physical labor in our warehouse and in the field as needed. You will also serve as a key point of contact with our clients when delivering. This position typically requires work on any given day(s) of the week with Thursday - Monday being the priority from 8 AM to 5 PM. There are Occasional evening shifts on weekends.

To succeed in this role, you must be physically fit, with the ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs. You must also be eager to learn and possess a positive attitude. What you do in your free time is totally up to you, but our workplace is substance and drug-free, and we are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all employees while on the job site.
