Position Overview
The Campus Director is the operational leader of the campus, responsible for driving its overall success. This includes fostering a culture of academic and professional excellence, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and achieving key campus goals. The ideal candidate will be a strong manager with a proven track record of leading both students and staff in a fast-paced career school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Student Management: Foster a positive and supportive learning environment. Conduct weekly student assemblies, resolve conflicts, and oversee student conduct and discipline.
- Staff Management: Lead and motivate a team of instructors and administrative staff. Conduct regular meetings, evaluate performance, manage schedules, and participate in the hiring process.
- Administrative Duties: Ensure compliance with all state and national regulatory requirements. Manage campus inventory, approve payroll, and handle escalated concerns from students, parents, and clients.
- Campus Operations: Maintain a clean, safe, and professional campus environment. Oversee the maintenance of the physical space and equipment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a leadership role at a career school, preferably in the cosmetology industry.
- Strong understanding of trade school regulations; familiarity with NACCAS regulations is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and meet operational goals.
- A passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to student success.
- Candidates must be open to relocation.
