- Oversee the daily clinical operations of the assigned nursing unit.
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care.
- Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely assessments, documentation, and follow-up.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility policies and nursing standards.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Review physician orders, medication administration records, and clinical documentation for accuracy.
- Address resident, family, and staff concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives, infection prevention activities, and regulatory surveys.
- Participate in the facility's on-call rotation to provide clinical leadership and support outside of regular business hours.
- Current, active Pennsylvania LPN or RN license.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
- Previous experience as a Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, or other nursing leadership role.
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations and clinical best practices.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
