- $5,000 bonus paid out in quarterly increments over the first year of employment ($1,250/end of quarter)*

- Current RN or LPN license in state of employment, in good standing
- Minimum 2-3 years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing
- Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience required
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and care documentation
- Current CPR/BLS certification
Clinical Oversight:
- Coordinate and oversee all nursing care provided on the unit.
- Ensure care plans are accurate, updated, and followed.
- Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely physician and family notification of changes.
- Conduct clinical rounds to assess resident status, evaluate staff performance, and address care issues.
- Participate in resident admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Administer medications and treatments as needed in compliance with policies and physician orders.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) on the unit.
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and corrective actions when necessary.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and staff development.
- Create and manage staffing schedules to ensure proper coverage.
- Ensure staff adhere to infection control, safety, and clinical protocols.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including documentation and resident rights.
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
- Prepare for and assist during state surveys and audits.
- Investigate incidents and implement follow-up actions or reporting as required.
- Communicate effectively with families, residents, staff, physicians, and other departments.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and resident care plan meetings.
- Support a positive, respectful environment for residents and staff.
