PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting in the preparation and service of meals
- Preparing/Setting-up meals trays according to tray tickets and ensuring diet orders, restrictions, and preferences are honored
- Maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of kitchens, equipment, dishes, work areas and dining rooms
- Working knowledge of sanitary practices relating to food handling
- Ability to pass a level II background check
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Well-groomed, professional and must be a team player who works well with others
- Strong attention to detail as well as excellent time management skills
- Ability to read, speak and understand English, and follow diet orders and work assignments
- Solid work history with excellent attendance and punctuality
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift/move items up to 20 lbs.
- Patience, understanding and compassion as well as the ability to interact positively with residents, patients, guests and fellow team members
Salary : $15
