What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delegating Nurse position at Aventura Health Group?
- Remotely managing the clinical oversight of resident care in the assisted living program
- Audit and review nursing notes, physician orders, lab work, and care plans in the residents' charts
- Issuing nursing or clinical orders, based upon the needs of residents
- Be on-site to observe each resident at least every 45 days
- Reviewing the assisted living manager's assessment of residents
- Complete initial assessments of residents in their homes, hospital, rehab, or other locations where resident is residing
- Nurse comprehensives
- Service plans
- RAT forms
- Health care practitioner
- Assisted living managers assessments and self-medication assessments are kept up to date as required by the state
- I will also do final review of monthly orders and conduct nursing staff medication assessments.
- Monthly education sessions for the CMT team
- Be available to cover additional days when the wellness director is on vacation
- CMT training and Licensing
