Position Title: Delegating Nurse
Salary: $45.00-$50.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Part Time (20 hours per week, Flexible Schedule)

What We Offer
Primary Responsibilities
RN currently licensed by State of Maryland. Current CPR certification. Supervisory experience preferred. Completion of a Maryland approved Delegating Nurse for Assisted Living course.
All new hires must be able to pass our pre-employment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references, and proof of vaccination or immunity for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella.

Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinates completion of Service Plans for Assisted Living residents with the Assisted Living Manager.
- Observes each resident at least every 45 days.
- Assures accuracy and completeness of the medical record.
- Reviews the Assisted Livings Manager’s assessment of residents.
- Coordinates and participates in family/resident service plan conferences.
- Assures effective communication with other shifts and departments as it relates to
- Assures appropriate delegation of nursing tasks.
- Serves as a staff nurse when staffing levels necessitate in order to meet the needs of
- Responds to emergency calls as necessary.
- Ensures notification of physician and family of changes in resident’s condition.
- Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
- Participate in the monthly Quality Assurance meeting.
- Participates in the nurse manager weekend on call program.
