Responsibilities
Essential Duties:
- Analyze government contracts before bidding and prepare financial and capital assessments for opportunities.
- Review customer requirements to ensure products and services meet their needs.
- Translate customer specifications for accurate input into production systems.
- Collaborate with field engineers to conduct site surveys and take measurements for work orders.
- Use current tools to create quotes for sales managers based on developed solutions.
- Review and ensure architectural and engineering designs align with standards and requirements.
- Work with regional managers, supervisors, and field engineers to develop effective customer solutions.
- Conduct pre-quote and project research to support the sales process as needed.
- Review and evaluate quotes, schedule equipment, and organize walkthroughs or surveys.
- Offer financial guidance to sales teams to ensure contracts are profitable.
- Perform analysis, business modeling, and financial reporting to guide sound business decisions.
- Interest in sales and business development, with a desire to learn about the financial aspects of sales
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Proficient in analyzing and/or managing multiple streams of data
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic understanding of financial principles, including financial statements, budgeting, and profitability analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or Master’s degree
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment. Occasionally, may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
