What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist position at Avec Therapy Services?
Do your best work without burning out.
If you’re a pediatric SLP who lights up when a child finds a new way to connect—but you’re tired of runaway caseloads, rushed sessions, and paperwork that eclipses progress—this could be your next right move.
Why Dade City?
We’re opening Avec Therapy Services in Dade City—one town over from where our founders grew up. It’s a community full of young families that currently has no full-service pediatric therapy clinic. That means your work won’t just fill a schedule; it will expand access to care and shape services for local kids from the ground up.
What makes this role different:
- Manageable, meaningful caseloads: Time and space for individualized, play-based, family-centered therapy—so your expertise actually shows.
- Outpatient pace, relationship focus: 1:1 sessions, parent coaching, collaboration with a tight-knit team.
- Flexible work schedule: So you can do pilates on Wednesday mornings or head out to that concert on Friday afternoons.
- Support that grows with you: Case consults, mentorship for specialty areas (AAC, gestalt language processing, feeding), and protected time for planning.
- A culture that backs quality over quantity: We call them clients, not patients, and we measure success by outcomes and family experience—not just units.
The role
- Title: Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (CF considered with strong peds experience)
- Setting: Outpatient pediatrics (early intervention, language, articulation, AAC, ASD, gestalt language processing, feeding/swallowing, and caregiver coaching)

- Want a voice in building workflows, traditions, and community partnerships as we grow this location.
What you’ll get
- Competitive compensation with performance recognition
