Sterile Processing Technician / Sterile Processing

    • High School Diploma/GED required

    • CRCST or CSPDT Certification (or ability to obtain within 1 year)

    • Minimum 1 year of Sterile Processing experience in a hospital or outpatient setting

    • Knowledge of CVOR instrumentation required

    • Strong attention to detail and quality standards

Job Responsibilities:

    • Clean, disinfect, decontaminate, inspect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment

    • Assemble, wrap, and prepare surgical trays and instrument sets

    • Operate steam, gas plasma, and sterilization equipment

    • Monitor sterilization processes using biological, chemical, and mechanical indicators

    • Maintain inventory and stock sterile supplies

    • Support operating room turnover and tray availability

    • Ensure compliance with AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission, and hospital standards

    • Deliver sterile instruments and equipment throughout the hospital

Required Skills:

    • Sterile Processing and Instrument Reprocessing experience

    • Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and tray assembly

    • Experience with sterilization equipment and quality monitoring

    • Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment

    • Strong communication and teamwork skills

    • Basic computer proficiency
