Current Schedule:
  • Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Monday – Wednesday: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
  • Thursday: Off
  • Friday: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
  • Saturday: Off
Conversion Opportunity: After approximately 3–6 months, the schedule may transition to Sunday–Thursday or Monday–Friday upon conversion to a employee.
Overtime: Mandatory overtime may occasionally be required, sometimes up to 1 additional hour.
Job Summary
 seeking Pharmacy Technicians to support a high-volume Central Fill Pharmacy operation in Everett, Washington. This facility prepares patient-level prescriptions for a large national retail pharmacy chain.
This is a fast-paced, production-oriented pharmacy environment focused on picking, filling, replenishing, packaging, and shipping prescriptions. The position does not involve direct patient interaction, answering phones, or working with insurance companies.
Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will accurately prepare, package, and distribute medications while maintaining a consistent workflow and meeting daily production goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, comfortable performing repetitive tasks, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Prescription Filling & Production
  • Manually fill prescription vials with prescribed tablets and capsules.
  • Read computer-generated screens to locate the correct medication and merchandise.
  • Verify medication size, strength, and product information before filling.
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations to accurately count or determine the required quantity of medication.
  • Maintain a continuous and accurate workflow to support daily production targets.
  • Work safely and efficiently in a high-volume automated pharmacy environment.
Automated Dispensing & Replenishment
  • Replenish medication in automated dispensing cells to maintain adequate inventory levels.
  • Open and handle large quantities of medication bottles and product cases.
  • Use handheld scanners to scan product barcodes.
  • Enter medication lot numbers and expiration dates into the appropriate computer system.
  • Monitor products carefully to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Identify and remove expired or damaged products according to pharmacy procedures.
Specialty & Cold-Chain Products
  • Prepare cold-chain and specialty prescriptions according to established handling requirements.
  • Follow appropriate procedures for packaging and maintaining product integrity.
  • Ensure medications are properly prepared for shipment.
Packing & Shipping
  • Assist with packaging completed prescriptions.
  • Prepare prescriptions for shipment according to established procedures.
  • Verify prescription information and packaging requirements before distribution.
  • Maintain patient safety and product accuracy throughout the packing and shipping process.
Inventory Management
  • Complete weekly cycle counts as assigned by the Inventory Manager.
  • Audit inventory in primary and secondary bin locations.
  • Identify and research inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist with determining potential root causes of inventory variances.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and report issues when identified.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all pharmacy policies, procedures, and standard operating practices.
  • Comply with applicable federal and state pharmacy requirements.
  • Protect patient privacy and comply with HIPAA requirements.
  • Maintain a strong safety-first approach.
  • Identify potential errors or discrepancies and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

  • Flexible and willing to work mandatory overtime when required.
  • Able to reliably report onsite for the assigned shift.
Required Qualifications
  • Pharmacy Technician License is required.
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification through PTCB or ExCPT is required.
  • Ability to work onsite in Everett, WA.
  • Reliable transportation to the work location.
  • Ability to work the assigned schedule.
  • Willingness to work mandatory overtime when required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-volume production environment.
Work Environment
This is a Central Fill pharmacy environment supporting high-volume prescription fulfillment. The position primarily involves picking, filling, replenishing, packaging, inventory activities, and shipping.
There is no direct patient interaction, phone support, or insurance-related work associated with this position.
