Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Control Lab Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous testing and inspection processes. You will work closely with manufacturing teams to implement quality assurance protocols and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
Duties
- Conduct quality inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to perform accurate measurements.
- Implement and maintain quality management systems in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, CGMP, and HACCP standards.
- Perform data collection and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement within the production process.
- Coordinate quality audits and assist in the development of corrective actions for non-conformities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and enhance product reliability.
- Maintain documentation related to quality control processes and results in compliance with FDA regulations.
- Utilize vision inspection systems for automated quality checks when applicable.
Skills
- Proficiency in Calypso software for measurement analysis is preferred.
- Strong understanding of FDA regulations and industry standards such as ISO 13485, HACCP, CGMP, and ISO 9001.
- Experience in conducting quality audits and implementing quality assurance practices.
- Solid background in manufacturing processes with a focus on quality control and inspection techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills for data collection and interpretation related to product quality.
- Familiarity with QA/QC methodologies and tools used in quality management systems.
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines effectively.
