Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automated systems.
- Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Utilize electrical knowledge to diagnose and fix electrical problems in equipment and facilities.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety regulations.
- Oversee facilities maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and quality workmanship.
- Provide customer service support by addressing maintenance-related inquiries or concerns from staff or residents.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
- Lead small teams on specific projects, providing supervision and guidance as necessary.
Skills
- Proficiency in mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance tasks.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including troubleshooting capabilities.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
- Experience with welding techniques for metal repairs.
- Ability to read schematics accurately to facilitate repairs and installations.
