Purpose & Overview
An individual able to read a label, lift and carry insulated glass (IG)
units to the Glazing Line and safely match the correct IG inside the
correct frame/sash
Key Responsibilities
Safely perform repetitive motion of lifting and setting IG
Confirm that Batch:Bin:Window number matches frame/sash to IG
Properly seat IG tight to glue seal **within 90 of glue placement**
Skills
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs alone or 40 lbs with help
Safety conscious
Hand flexibility and strength
QUALITY ASSURANCE / QUALITY CONTROL (QA/QC)
Confirm IG is free of scratches, chips or cracks
Frame/sash and IG are square
No gaps between face of IG and glued face of frame/sash
