Temp Host - Hostess

Avanti hosts make $20-22/hr! We are looking for an experienced host/hostess to work full-time from 11/1-1/31 during our holiday pop-up bar. This is a temporary position that could lead to further opportunities with Avanti in the future.

This posted position is for regular hosting and welcoming at Avanti, as well as pick-up shifts in our holiday pop-up bar, Avantiki! This bar is a private event held on our decked-out covered patio tiki bar! This bar offers full service, from greeting with an aperitif to a farewell drink on the house. This area requires knowledge of the OpenTable reservation system.

• Collaboration amongst your team! Avanti operates with a tip-pooling system. Understanding every position in Avanti is crucial to our shared success, and lending a hand to all fellow team members is a must!

• Greeting and seating guests

• Taking calls for reservations and inputting them in OpenTable

• Clean and professional demeanor. Hospitality, passion, and drive are at the core of what we do.

• Experience in high-volume environments; stamina is crucial.

• Maintaining a clean and organized floor before, during, and after service

• An outgoing, guest- and hospitality-driven focus

• Customer service experience, or experience greeting customers and creating a positive and welcoming environment

Originally inspired by European markets and food truck roundups, we are a modern-day food hall. Our locations feature several different restaurant concepts under one roof.
