Full Time Cook – Immediate Opening
Location: Raleigh, NC
Shift: 2nd Shift 12PM-830PM (Must be available every other weekend)
Pay: $20 per hour
Do you have a knack for culinary excellence? Have experience cooking in a professional kitchen? We need your skillset to fill a Cook position for a retirement community in Raleigh!
Responsibilities for the Cook:
- Assist in the production of creatively designed cuisine
- Cook according to menus, production sheet and recipes with consideration
- Maintain kitchen and food preparation in a clean and sanitary manner
- Deliver all invoices to Dining Services Director in a timely fashion
- Maintain records or meals served and records of food and supplies used as required
Qualifications for the Cook:
- Proper Knife skills
- Experienced in scratch and batch cooking preferred
- Cooking for country clubs, hotels, Local or Non chain restaurants
Requirements for the Cook:
- Be a high school graduate (preferred)
- Have at least 2 years of cooking experience
- Food Handler’s certification
- Clean Background (unfortunately no felony convictions)
- Clean drug screen
- Must take TB test
