Avanciers are seeking a Document Control Specialist to lead a high-impact Tariff Recovery Initiative focused on identifying, documenting, and recovering tariff underpayments. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
Responsibilities:
Manage the full cycle of the Tariff Recovery Initiative, including planning, data analysis, and execution.
Review import/export data to identify opportunities for tariff recovery.
Partner with Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Customs Compliance teams to validate and process claims.
Coordinate with customs brokers and trade consultants for documentation and verification.
Prepare and submit duty drawback, refund, or reclassification documentation.
Track progress, financial outcomes, and ensure adherence to trade regulations.
Present project updates and recovery results to leadership teams.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in document control, trade compliance, or import/export operations.
Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
