Responsibilities
- Handle daily cash transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing, ensuring adherence to cash handling procedures and banking regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and offering tailored financial solutions.
- Promote bank products and services through upselling and cross-selling opportunities to meet customer needs and enhance their financial well-being.
- Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring transactions for suspicious activity and adhering to industry knowledge of financial compliance standards.
- Maintain detailed records of all transactions using financial software and ensure compliance with banking regulatory requirements.
- Support cash management activities including balancing cash drawers.
Requirements
- Experience in financial sales, customer relationship management or retail banking environments preferred.
- Strong skills in basic math and 10 key typing for accurate transaction processing.
- Knowledge of industry standards related to financial compliance, banking regulations, fraud prevention & detection.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Technical proficiency with financial software systems and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in banking or finance are a plus.
