Position Summary:
The Assistant Manager supports the daily operations of the urgent care clinic, ensuring efficiency, quality patient service, and compliance with healthcare standards. This role assists the Office Manager in supervising staff, coordinating administrative processes, managing schedules, and maintaining a positive, organized work environment. Candidates with urgent care or medical office experience are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Support & Supervision:

  • Assist in supervising front desk, billing, and administrative staff.
  • Help with hiring, onboarding, and staff training.
  • Coordinate daily schedules and ensure appropriate staffing coverage.

Patient Experience:

  • Promote and maintain excellent patient service and communication.
  • Assist in resolving patient inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.

Clinic Operations:

  • Support the flow of daily administrative and clinical operations.
  • Oversee patient registration, insurance verification, and billing support.
  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping and HIPAA compliance.

Financial Support:

  • Assist in handling payments, copay collections, and deposit tracking.
  • Collaborate with billing staff to follow up on insurance claims and denials.
  • Provide support for monthly reports and financial summaries.

Compliance & Quality:

  • Support compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
  • Assist in audits, inspections, and maintaining current certifications.
  • Help implement and monitor office policies and procedures.

Technology & Supplies:

  • Support office equipment maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
  • Assist with ordering medical and office supplies to ensure adequate inventory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
