Key Responsibilities
- Daily Shop Management: Act as the primary liaison between the shop floor and management, ensuring daily workflows are organized and documented.
- Inventory & Procurement: Handle the end-to-end process of ordering, receiving, and organizing bus parts and supplies. Maintain a clean, labeled, and logical stockroom.
- Digital Fleet Administration: Manage and update our core SaaS platforms, Fleetio (for maintenance records/parts) and Samsara (for fleet tracking and safety data).
- Data Accuracy: Utilize Microsoft Excel and Outlook to track vendor orders, verify packing slips against invoices, and handle warranty claims or returns.
- Leadership & Communication: Foster a collaborative environment between diesel technicians and corporate leadership, ensuring the shop meets safety and operational standards.
- Required: High proficiency with computers and SaaS platforms. You must be comfortable learning and daily managing systems like Fleetio and Samsara.
- Required: Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Outlook) and the ability to maintain 100% data accuracy.
- Required: Exceptional organizational and leadership skills—you are the "control tower" of the shop.
- Required: Ability to work in a maintenance shop environment, including the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and occasional ladder use.
- Preferred: Previous experience in inventory, warehousing, or automotive service writing is a plus, but not required. We are happy to train the right person.
