Responsibilities
What will you be doing?
The Pharmacist will provide support to residents admitted into the facility. Daily duties include filling prescriptions, educating patients on their treatment, planning long-term drug therapy, identifying drug interactions, and keeping the pharmacy area clean and organized. Will dispense drugs prescribed by Medical Director and other health practitioners and provide information to residents about medications and their use. He or she may advise Medical Director and other health practitioners on the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects of medications.

Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree
- Must be licensed in accordance with state licensing requirements
- At least two years’ experience in post-acute care environment
- Strong patient service skills
- Excellent knowledge of chemistry and specific drug interactions
- Strong knowledge of medical and biological terminology
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to balance competing priorities
