Position Description
We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven sales leader. You will personally prospect, run the full sales cycle, and close deals with self-insured employers and the brokers/consultants who advise them. As you will own a large sales target, we encourage applicants who have a proven track record of meeting sales targets, a robust network among self-insured companies, brokers and hospital systems, a strong familiarity with AI-driven platforms in healthcare and a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth. In addition, this position will be expected to:
Sales Goal Achievement
- Aggressively hunt new business within self-insured employers and the brokers/consultants who influence them
- Leverage your existing, active network to open doors and generate sales
- Take full ownership of sales quota and proactively work towards meeting and exceeding target
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute strategic plans that will drive revenue growth and achieve ambitious sales objectives
Customer Engagement
- Build and nurture strong relationships with customers by understanding their business challenges and leveraging a value-based selling methodology to align our solutions to their goals
- Act as a strategic advisor, providing insights on how PhysicianGPS can uniquely address customer needs and collaborating to devise roadmaps aligned with their goals
Organizational Leader
- Partner closely with the product development team to integrate feedback into our solution that meets customer requirements and expands offering
- Communicate valuable feedback from the market as well as customer interactions to relevant teams within the organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate value selling best practice across the organizations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory. MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 6 to 8 years of proven experience in quota-carrying sales role with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Must have a strong network of contacts and relevant experience selling to self-insured employers
- Results-oriented leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in growing a team or working in a start-up environment is preferred
- Interest and knowledge in AI technologies and their practical application to healthcare organizations
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Desire to improve the healthcare system through quality, data-driven care
Compensation
- Competitive base salary according to experience
