Position Summary

BGI is seeking a part-time or full-time F-16 Civilian Instructor Pilot C(IP) will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting international F-16 pilot training and operational upgrade programs under a US government Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract. This instruction will occur in Rio Cuarto, Argentina in support of the Argentina initial and follow-on F-16 training. The candidate will provide academic and simulator instruction to Argentina pilots, supporting Initial Qualification Training, Mission Qualification Training (MQT), and Instructor Pilot Upgrade (IPUG) programs.

 

This position supports the delivery of safe, standardized, and combat-ready F-16 aircrews in alignment with U.S. Air Force and host-nation operational requirements. The instructor will work within a structured training syllabus to ensure students achieve required proficiency, safety, and tactical competency. This position is subcontracted by Top Aces Corporation (TAC), so candidate will implement and support TAC initiatives, programs and policies as directed. This role requires OCONUS deployment and the ability to operate effectively within a multinational training and operational environment. BGI is seeking candidates for a minimum of 90 days but accepts longer stays up to 2 years if desired. Candidates will be placed in a full-time status while on deployment.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Provide academic and simulator instruction to Argentina F-16 pilots in support of B-Course, MQT, FLUG, and IPUG syllabi
• Instruct pilots in the safe, standardized, and tactically effective employment of the F-16 weapon system
• Conduct mission planning, briefings, debriefings, and performance evaluations for simulator training
• Assist in development of academic syllabus and become an expert on the academic material provided
• Provide classroom instruction using a variety of instructional media
• Operate and manage F-16 simulator Instructor Operator Stations (IOS) to facilitate student training
• Monitor student progress, identify training deficiencies, and conduct remedial instruction as required
• Develop, review, and update training materials, mission scenarios, and simulator profiles
• Evaluate training device performance and report system issues and discrepancies
• Maintain currency in F-16 tactics, systems, and operational procedures
• Support host-nation training objectives while enforcing U.S. standardization
• Collect and disseminate lessons learned and training best practices
• Provide regular progress reports to the Site Lead and Program Management
• Deploy or travel internationally as required to support mission needs

Required and/or Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• MUST BE U.S. CITIZEN
• Previously qualified F-16 Instructor Pilot
• Instructor Pilot qualification within the last 10 years
• Minimum 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time in fixed-wing fighter aircraft (U.S. or Allied)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities of an Instructor Pilot in daily performance
• Strong interpersonal, instructional, and communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and training documentation tools

Desired Qualifications

• 1,000 hours PIC in F-16
• 500 hours as an F-16 IP across multiple F-16 blocks
• Previous Formal Training Unit (FTU) or MLU Instructor experience
• Experience training foreign military pilots
• Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program experience
• Simulator and academic instructor experience
