The Clinical Support Specialist (CSS) provides education, technical expertise, and workflow support for AvaDent’s digital denture and implant-retained solutions. This position is responsible for clinical integration, training, and field-level assistance for dental practices and laboratories throughout the Eastern U.S. region. The CSS acts as the clinical extension of AvaDent’s Sales and Education team, promoting adoption of digital workflows while ensuring optimal outcomes for clinicians and patients.

The Clinical Support Specialist (CSS) provides education, technical expertise, and workflow support for AvaDent’s digital denture and implant-retained solutions. This position is responsible for clinical integration, training, and field-level assistance for dental practices and laboratories throughout the Eastern U.S. region. The CSS acts as the clinical extension of AvaDent’s Sales and Education team, promoting adoption of digital workflows while ensuring optimal outcomes for clinicians and patients.
Main Tasks/Responsibilities/Authorities
- Deliver in-office, virtual, and CE-accredited training sessions on AvaDent’s digital denture workflows.
- Support clinicians and lab teams during onboarding, case planning, and live patient workflows.
- Provide hands-on demonstrations and chairside assistance as needed.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to expand product utilization across assigned territory.
- Represent AvaDent at industry events, trade shows, and study clubs.
- Gather customer feedback to improve processes, products, and educational materials.
- Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, case support, and education outcomes.
Function Requirements: (education, experience, competences, etc)
- Licensed Hygienist, Dental Assistant (EFTA), or Certified Dental Technician (CDT) strongly preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of dental or lab experience focusing on removable prosthetics or implant dentistry.
- Experience delivering CE or hands-on training highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of CAD/CAM systems and digital workflows.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organization skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
