Global Dental Science, a company specializing in process automation for dentistry, and makers of AvaDent Digital Dentures, seeks to hire a Lathe Operator for our third shift, 8:30pm - 5:00am, Sunday thru Thursday.
Lathe Operators set up and operate lathes and run parts according to work instructions. Experience in the setup and operation of lathes with a digital read-out is desirable. Previous CNC mill experience is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.

The Lathe technician should have a high school degree or equivalent. Prior experience in a manufacturing technician role, following work instructions and using a lathe is required.

Main Tasks
- Review production orders to verify correct specifications
- Set up lathe and operate per specifications
- Maintain all logs
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Alert Manager of any repair needs of other areas of concern with regard to the facility
- Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment
- Assist in manufacturing processes as directed
- Assist in engineering processes as directed
- Perform a variety of tasks to support the day to day operations of the business
